21st Annual Susan G. Komen Detroit Race
May 18, 2012
Here at Grace Family Health Center PC we endorse healthy living day-in and day-out. As a long-standing business in the City of Detroit, we want to see the residents of the city healthy and strong. And what better way to support “healthy living” then by supporting an annual walk for a cause?
The Susan G. Komen “Race For The Cure” Detroit Race is making its way to downtown Detroit. Saturday, May 26, 2012 walkers will fill the streets while supporting research for Breast Cancer. In this 5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Walk, participants will be able to get a great exercise while enjoying the city.
Click here to learn more about the race and to put together a team to participate. You can expect to see some Grace Family Health Center staff at the walk burning a sweat. And send us your pics so we can post them on our website. Let’s show Detroit how to stay fit while having fun.

It takes initiative and drive to want to get up and workout on a consistent basis. But what if you were offered a pretty big incentive. Let’s say a full 12 months free membership to the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.
In collaboration with G.I.V.E. Fitness LLC, weekly fitness classes will be offered at the museum from 7:30pm to 8:30pm on Tuesdays. Attend 8 consecutive sessions and you receive the free museum membership. Classes will focus on working out the full body.
